Ich bin Nils, 23 Jahre jung und komme aus dem St. Galler Rheintal.

I am Nils, 23 years old and come from the the eastern part of Switzerland.

Im Frühjahr 2020 habe ich die Ausbildung zum EFZ Informatiker Fachrichtung Applikations­entwicklung abgeschlossen. Parallel dazu habe ich Erfahrungen im Bereich Videoproduktion gesammelt. Aktuell studiere ich Informatik an der ETH Zürich.

In 2020 I completed my apprenticeship as an EFZ Software Engineer at Adcubum AG in St. Gallen. At the same time, I gained experience in the field of video production. I am currently studying computer science at ETH Zurich.

Im Rahmen meiner Einzelfirma Nils Benz Software und Video programmiere ich Websites und Apps für kleine Unternehmen und Einzelpersonen. Ausserdem produziere ich Videos. Ich halte beispielsweise den ganz besonderen Tag für ein Hochzeitspaar fest oder erstelle einen Werbeclip für verschiedenste Produkte und Dienstleistungen.

I founded a sole proprietorship Nils Benz Software und Video and make websites and apps for small companies and individuals. I also produce films, for example for wedding couples, but also small ads for a variety of products and services.

Neben meinem Job als Informatiker produziere ich Videos. Ich halte beispielsweise den ganz besonderen Tag für ein Hochzeitspaar fest oder erstelle einen Werbeclip für ein kleines Unternehmen.

In addition to my job as a computer scientist, I produce videos. For example, I capture the very special day for a wedding couple or create an advertising clip for a small company.

Ich verwende den Videoeditor DaVinci Resolve von Blackmagic Design und habe eine Lizenz bei Epidemic Sound. Ich habe ausserdem Erfahrung mit der Creative Cloud von Adobe. Nachfolgend habe ich einige meiner Projekte veröffentlicht.

I use the video editor DaVinci Resolve from Blackmagic Design and have a license at Epidemic Sound. Additionally I have experience with the Creative Cloud by Adobe. Below I listed some of my past projects.

In 2020 I completed my apprenticeship as an EFZ Software Engineer at Adcubum AG in St. Gallen. I am currently studying computer science at ETH Zurich and work part-time at Ubique Innovation AG.

Neben meinem Studium programmiere ich Websites und Apps für Einzelpersonen und kleine Unternehmen.

Besides my studies I program websites and apps for individuals and small businesses.

  • Bstell online, ein Kassensystem für Vereine. Es ermöglicht Vereinen, ihre Bestellungen an Anlässen einfach zu verwalten und auch Online-Bestellungen zu ermöglichen.
  • Die KMT 25 PWA, welche alle wichtigen Informationen zu den Rheintaler Kreismusiktagen enthält.
  • Die Kitesurf Adventure PWA, welche hilft, den täglichen Betrieb in einer Kiteschule zu organisieren.
  • Das web dojo, eine Lernplattform für Webtechnologien, die an Schulen eingesetzt wird.
  • Bstell online, a cash register system for clubs. It allows associations to easily manage their orders at events and also allow online orders.
  • The KMT 25 PWA which contains important information about the Rheintaler Kreismusiktage
  • The Kitesurf Adventure PWA, which helps to organize the daily business at a kite school
  • The web dojo, a learning platform for web technologies that is used at highschools
